Syslogic launches new computer for AI applications

Baden-Dättwil AG – Syslogic has launched a new computer for vehicles and mobile machinery. The new system is intended for applications using artificial intelligence (AI).

Syslogic, an Aargau-based company specialising in computer systems for vehicles and mobile machinery, has launched a new computer on the market. According to a press release, the new model from the A4AGX series will be equipped with a Jetson AGX Orin module. The compact SoM (system-on-module) offers up to 275 TOPS of AI computing power and either 32GB or 64GB of RAM. The computer’s power consumption is scalable from 15 to 60 watts.

The Syslogic rugged computers are built for AI applications. They are used to combine computer vision applications with CUDA, neural networks, sensors and robotics. In mobile machines and robots, as well as vehicles, the computers can be used in many different environments, and tolerate temperatures ranging from -25 to +60 degrees Celsius. Syslogic’s AI software is compatible with Nvidia software.

Michael Jung, Product Manager at Syslogic, said in the press release: ‘Syslogic rugged computers are valued around the world for their robustness and reliability. The new system will be unveiled for the first time at the NVIDIA GTC AI developer conference, which takes place from 17 to 21 March 2024 in San José, California. ce/ww
