Findependent exceeds growth targets

Lenzburg - Findependent from Lenzburg in the Swiss canton of Aargau grew faster than planned in 2024 and now has 20,000 customers. The fintech startup has also exceeded its target in terms of asset growth to 220 million Swiss francs.

(CONNECT) Findependent recorded growth rates that were twice as high as expected at the end of 2024, according to a statement from the fintech company based in Lenzburg. The growth driver for this above plan performance was a successful financing round that raised five million Swiss francs. In the round, 1,500 customers became co-owners.

Growth targets were also defined as part of the successful financing programme. The target for the number of customers at the end of the year was 15,000, while the target for the market value of all assets (assets under management, AuM) was 160 million Swiss francs. Both targets were “clearly exceeded” with a client base of 19,000 and AuM of 198 million Swiss francs as per 2025.

The figures for the start of 2025 suggest that this growth will continue: the number of customers has risen to over 20,000 and assets under management have risen above plan to 220 million Swiss francs.

The largest contribution to growth came from the area of private client assets under management. According to Matthias Bryner, founder and CEO of findependent, the number of clients investing more than 100,000 Swiss francs with findependent has more than tripled within a year. ce/heg
