The ICT service provider Data Unit AG is now offering a cloud solution for SAP services. According to a press release, the company, which focuses on providing services to small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) from its locations in Sursee in the canton of Lucerne and Baden in the canton of Aargau in Switzerland, has now included SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition in its portfolio to go alongside SAP Business One and SAP Business ByDesign.
The comprehensive cloud solution sets new standards in terms of efficiency, flexibility and innovation, as Data Unit writes in the press release. It enables companies to achieve significant cost savings by avoiding expensive hardware investments and keeping maintenance costs to a minimum.
As with the SAP services offered to date, regular software updates and maintenance services are to be carried out via proprietary SAP data centers. This helps to ease the burden on customers by reducing their need to fall back on internal IT resources and will increase security and compliance (i.e. using the service in accordance with the rules).
An outstanding feature of SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition is the integration of Artificial Intelligence (AI), as the press release explains further. AI-driven automation has the ability to increase the efficiency of repetitive tasks and reduce errors. Moreover, predictive analytics and self-learning systems serve to improve the accuracy of business processes on an ongoing basis.
