Bertschi AG has won the industry award “Outstanding End-to-End Supply Chain Service Enterprise of the Year 2024”. In a selection process involving leading chemical manufacturers and logistics experts, the Swiss multinational logistics service provider from Dürrenäsch impressed with its ability to deliver safe, innovative and reliable supply chain solutions, as was reported in a press release.
The industry award was presented at the Global Chemical Supply Chain (China) Summit in Shanghai and highlights the in-depth knowledge of chemical logistics in the Chinese market, in particular. The award was presented to the company’s Zhangjiagang Liquids Chemical Hub, where Bertschi offers solutions for the transport, storage and handling of chemical products.
The modern and safe dangerous goods facility offers a capacity of 50,000 tons storage and over 500,000 tons annual throughput capacity for a wide range of chemical products. In addition, Bertschi enables its customers to export liquid chemicals to China in bulk, with the option to delay packaging into the end market. Bulk ISO tanks from Bertschi’s Zhangjiagang ISO tank farm allow for delivery to customers in China, avoiding the high fixed costs associated with shore storage tank rentals.
