(CONNECT) Producers and customers of green hydrogen need planning security, according to Axpo in a press release. To this end, Axpo will support the new platform MatcH2, which promotes exchanges between producers, customers and transport service providers and provides the basis for accelerating the transition towards decarbonization.
“The platform will show the available amount of green hydrogen molecules and thus strengthen the confidence of potential customers in a reliable source of supply”, comments Michael Limacher, Hydrogen Market & Pricing Manager at Axpo, in the press release. Customers will be informed as to where green hydrogen is available in Switzerland, the company writes. Moreover, MatcH2 reportedly offers an overview of the demand for hydrogen, provided by data from the customers themselves.
The idea for targeted control and coordination of stakeholders in the hydrogen market via a digital networking platform came about as a result of the collaboration between Axpo and the innovation and start-up promoter Hub Bluelion. The platform is operated by the software company Localiser. ce/heg
