Park Innovaare offers an innovation ecosystem for high-tech companies of all sizes. Thanks to its proximity to the Paul Scherrer Institute (PSI), it provides companies with first-class research infrastructure, supports them in their business development and connects them with science and technology experts. Park Innovaare is home to the two national technology transfer centres ANAXAM and Swiss PIC.

The ANAXAM technology transfer centre offers businesses access to analytical methods using neutron and synchrotron radiation that go far beyond what is achievable on a laboratory scale, primarily at the Paul Scherrer Institute (PSI). The institute thereby promotes innovation and knowledge transfer.

ESA arrives at PSI with innovation centre

Villigen - The European Space Agency (ESA) will in future be represented at the Paul Scherrer Institute (PSI) by way of a European Space Deep-Tech Innovation Centre (ESDI). In conjunction with the Phi Lab, another new addition, the aim is to enhance its visibility and use Swiss innovations for space research.

Metafuels and PSI receive 4.4 million Swiss francs for e-SAF pilot plant

Adliswil/Villigen - Metafuels and the Paul Scherrer Institute (PSI) have received a grant totaling 4.4 million Swiss francs from the Swiss Federal Office of Energy to construct a pilot plant for the conversion of methanol into sustainable aviation fuel known as e-SAF. The pilot plant will function on the basis of aerobrew technology jointly developed by the two partners.
