Villigen/Dornach - LeadXpro and Alipheron have entered into a partnership, combining their strengths in structural biology and virtual screening of combinatorial libraries with trillions of molecules. They hope this will accelerate discovery of new therapeutics.

Adliswil/Villigen - Metafuels and the Paul Scherrer Institute (PSI) have received a grant totaling 4.4 million Swiss francs from the Swiss Federal Office of Energy to construct a pilot plant for the conversion of methanol into sustainable aviation fuel known as e-SAF. The pilot plant will function on the basis of aerobrew technology jointly developed by the two partners.
